I. The School of Digital Economy and Management of Nanjing University
Theoretical Economics at Nanjing University has been selected as a discipline for the national Double First Class Construction. The discipline has a first-class faculty team, with 40 full-time teachers, including 1 senior professor in humanities and social sciences at Nanjing University, 3 national teaching masters, 3 selected candidates for the national talent plan, and 2 national level candidates for the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security's Hundred and Ten Thousand Talents Project. It has established the Nanjing University Yangtze River Delta Economic and Social Development Research Center as a key research base of the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences, the Nanjing University Yangtze River Industry Economic Research Institute as a national think tank cultivation unit, and the Nanjing University Cultural Industry Research Institute as a key research base of the Ministry of Culture. It is the main participating unit of the China's Characteristic Economic Construction Collaborative Innovation Center in the national 2011 plan, and has two Jiangsu Decision Consulting Research Bases.
The School of Digital Economy and Management of Nanjing University is one of the first colleges built by Nanjing University on its Suzhou campus. Facing the main battlefield of the economy and major national needs, it aims to cultivate high-end composite talents in the digital economy and build a theoretical system for the digital economy. It conducts research on the digital economy, digital finance, digital trade, and digital governance, and focuses on building a new liberal arts discipline that integrates economics, digital intelligence, statistics, and behavior.
II. The Positions
The School of Digital Economy and Management at Nanjing University, leveraging the discipline of theoretical economics at Nanjing University, is globally recruiting top-tier leaders and young talents in the field of digital economy. We plan to recruit several associate professors and assistant professors. For particularly outstanding high-level talents, positions will be discussed separately. Candidates should be engaged in digital economy research, have high-quality achievements in the field, and be capable of teaching courses such as digital finance and securities investment, corporate finance, financial technology, accounting, and financial management. Recruitment research directions include:
1.Digital finance and securities investment;
2.Digital economy and macroeconomics;
3.Digital economy governance;
4.Accounting and Financial Management.
III. Conditions for Application
The applicant should
1.Abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, and have a passion for teaching and research;
2.Abide by the ethics of teachers, uphold academic integrity, be willing to work diligently, and have no criminal record or record in breaching the ethics of teachers and/or academic integrity;
3.First-class digital economy academic background: have a doctorate degree in the field of economics, high-quality achievements in the field of digital economy, have study and work experience in first-class teaching and research institutions, familiar with the international frontier research trends in the field of digital economy;
4.Have outstanding teaching abilities—the applicant should be able to teach core and frontline courses in the corresponding discipline, and have sound teaching methodology and strong verbal skills;
5.Demonstrate outstanding research output and potential—the applicant should have publications in his/her field of research, original ideas about relevant fields of research, a clear vision about future research plans, and good potential for further academic development;
6.Be in good health;
7.Those with certain work experience are welcome, especially teachers with senior professional titles.
IV. Supporting Materials for Application
